HALLOWEEN IS NIGH!!!

yeah. I said nigh.

And it's my very favorite holiday in the whole entire world. Also of all time. So expect the creepy, the strange, the horrifying and the macabre coming from yours truly in the next couple months...

Also, if anyone in the western NY/Rochester area would like a horror shoot done (kinda like the ones of the girl in the bath tub) I will do it free of charge, just because I like doing it!!! Don't worry about makeup we do have an artist. So let me know!!

One last thing, Night of the Living Dead will be showing at the ghostlight theatre in North Tonawanda NY next month! It's always an amazing show with an awesome cast (and of course lots of gore) so be sure to get your tickets for that one! DON'T MISS IT!!! OR YOU'LL DIE!!! TRUE STORY!!!

My name is Danny MacKay also known as Danny Deadheart. I am a freelance portrait photographer, and I can't wait to make photography my career!

Short of highschool I haven't had any formal training in photography, all the tricks I know I've basically taught myself. I'm street smart that way. However, I am hoping to go to photography school this year.

I finally got my Nikon digital SLR camera! It's a 10mp Nikon D60...most of my earlier work you'll see here is on a crappy little 200$ camera, but I just got this baby, so expect loads of pics!!

My favorite subject to photograph is my wife, so you'll see alot of pictures of her here and get to know her well. She's a beautiful girl and a total sweetheart, and I'm still not entirely sure why she'd be interested in a big goofball like me. We live in NY with our two dogs, Pudge the pug, and Smudge the French bulldog.

Other than that, I'm pretty much an open book, so read away.
